Last July 23-24, 2022, Philippine Killer Whale had joined two different swim meets in the same day. Despite the fact that the team was split in half, the Philippine Killerwhale team managed to win the Overall Team Champion, not just in one meet but in both!

Philippine Killerwhale GENERALS competed in the 2 day UPVST friendly meet, and the remaining Philippine Killerwhale swimmers competed in the 23rd SLP 2 day competition.
23rd SLP Series
During the 23rd SLP competition, Quezon Killer Whales had a total of thirty-three swimmers, Batangas Killer Whales had a total of twenty-seven swimmers. All of them contributed to make the team a champion in the 23rd SLP competition.

Quezon Killer Whale won the Overall Champion, and the Batangas Killer Whale managed to place 5th despite the low number of swimmers who participated during this meet.
Among the thirty-three swimmers of QKWST, and twenty-seven swimmers of BKWSC, there were a lot in the team who won the Most Outstanding Swimmer award;

The Team General’s game at UPVST

While the PKWST is busy at the 23rd SLP meet, our team generals were also busy bagging their medals during the UPVST friendly meet at Xavier School!
The UPVST friendship meet is a friendly competition where swimmers get to be at their best whilst having fun and meeting new friends.

Some of the Team Highlights and fun events were;
4x50m kickboard relay

Our Killer Whale generals; Yohan Cabana, Ivan Radovan, Jasmine Mojdeh, and Heather White, memorably placed first with a 50meter gap from the other teams!
4x50m freestyle with coach

This event was one of the most memorable swim by our team. The team work of Tita Jenny, Marcus, Heather, and Ruben was more meaningful than the medals. Tita Jenny-(wearing a swim cap) conquered the pressure of the competition, and swam with a mindset of finishing the race with the team.
Last Swimmer Standing

The Last Swimmer Standing event is an event where eight swimmers will do a 50meter freestyle four times. Every round is an elimination round wherein half the swimmer who last touches the wall gets eliminated. The Last Swimmer Standing, or the swimmer who touches the wall first at the final round is declared the WINNER.
The winners of this event, in the male and female category are…..

You guessed it right! The Philippine Killer Whale swimmers; Amina Mondonedo (female) and Marcus De Kam (male)
After a nerve-wrecking two day game, Philippine Killer Whale once again won the Team Champion during the UPVST meet with a huge gap basing it on points!
To wrap up the 2 day meet last weekend, July 23-24, the team brought home two Team Champion Trophies!
To all Philippine Killer Whale Swimmers, what an excellent job you guys have done! Keep your head high, be proud, and show everyone what a true Killerwhale can do!
